Heard Mr.C.Jeya Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.S.Deenadhayalan, learned Standing Counsel for the respondents.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed praying for a Mandamus, directing the third respondent to transfer the electricity connection in the petitioner's name by considering her representation dated 25.08.2015.

3. It is the case of the learned counsel for the petitioner inspite of intimation to the petitioner to give details as regards the person in whose name the present electricity connections stands, he had not responded. The learned counsel for the petitioner also placed on record a notice sent by him to the petitioner through registered post dated 03.07.2023. 2/5

However, considering the fact that the representation was made by the petitioner to the third respondent as early as on 25.08.2015, the petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the third respondent within a period of four weeks from today and if any such representation is made by the petitioner, the third respondent shall consider the representation and pass orders within a period of four weeks thereafter, after issuing notice to the petitioner and other individual concerned.

5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
