O RDER This Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of the Code of Criminal Procedure seeking for a direction to the respondent police not to harass the petitioner basing on the complaint given by the respondent No.3. 2.It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioner that on account of the disputes between the petitioner and the respondent No.3, a false complaint has been filed, basing on which the respondent No.2 police have been harassing the petitioner, thereby the petitioner has sent a representation to the respondent police dated 31.08.2023. However, no action has been taken and therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) submits that the complaint given by the respondent No.3 is registered as CSR.No.540 of 2023 and an enquiry is being initiated and insofar as the representation of the petitioner is concerned, it is submitted that the petitioner stated to have sent the complaint by post, however, the same has not been received by the police. It is submitted further that in case if the petitioner files a fresh application, certainly the police would make an enquiry 2/5

objectively and dispose of the same as quickly as possible. 4.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Petition is disposed of permitting the petitioner to file a fresh application before the police, on which the respondent police are directed to dispose of the same as expeditiously as possible, not later than two weeks from the date of filing of the petition. The respondent police are also directed to conduct an enquiry in respect of the complaint given by the respondent No.3 by following the procedure and by issuing summons.
