O R D E R

This contempt petition is filed that the order of this Court in WP(MD) (Crl.)No.27 of 2025, dated 04.06.2025, has not been complied with.

2.Today(04.09.2025), when this contempt petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The petitioner, with a grievance that his request for conducting hunger strike has been rejected by the respondent Police, has filed the above writ petition. This Court, by its order, dated 04.06.2025 has disposed of that writ petition as under:- ''3.Since there is no reason assigned in the order impugned, the same is set aside. The petitioner is directed to give a fresh representation to the third respondent, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. On receipt of the same, the third respondent shall consider it within a further period of one week therefrom. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.''

4.Now the petitioner has approached this Court that the above direction issued by this Court has not been complied with. 5.Mr.Abul Kalaam Azad, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) takes notice for the respondent and submits that permission for conducting hunger strike has been granted orally and it has been entered in the Rough Duty Register, however, they have inadvertently failed to issue any proceedings to that effect. 6.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate(Crl.side), this contempt petition is closed.
