For Petitioners : Mr.M.Jothi Basu (in both WPs) For Respondents : Mr.H.Arumugam Standing Counsel (in both Wps) COMMON ORDER These writ petitions have been filed by the petitioners challenging the suspension orders dated 06.11.2024 and 27.11.2024, passed by the second respondent.
2.Heard the learned counsel for the parties. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3. The petitioners are employed as Salesmen by the respondent Marketing Corporation Limited. Due to alleged misappropriation, they were placed under suspension. Challenging the same, the petitioners have filed these writ petitions.

4. When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel on both sides, submitted that a similarly placed person had earlier filed a writ petition in W.P.(MD) No.22270 of 2025 and this Court, by its order dated 03.06.2025, passed the following order:
"Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the view that the disciplinary proceedings cannot be kept pending indefinitely. Accordingly, the writ petition stands disposed of with the following directions: (i) The concerned respondent is directed to pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner, if not already paid, strictly in accordance with law; and (ii) The respondents are directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the issue involved in the present writ petition is squarely covered by the aforesaid order. 4/7

In view of the above decision and considering the submissions made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, these writ petitions are disposed of with a direction to the concerned respondent to pay subsistence allowance to the petitioner, if not already paid, strictly in accordance with law and further directed to conclude the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
