The petitioner with an allegation that the third respondent has obtained a bogus ration card submitted an application and filed this writ petition in the year 2018 for a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to cancel the bogus family ration card.

2.Today (26.03.2024), when this writ petition is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner. 3.The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 on instructions submits that an enquiry has been conducted by the official respondent. However, the enquiry has 2/4

not been concluded and they require some time to conclude the enquiry.

4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondents to conclude the enquiry within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
