Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order of the respondent in G.O.(D)No.694 Municipal Administration & Water Supply (TP.4) Department dated 30.11.2015 quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to reinstate the petitioner with arrears of salary from the date of impugned order till reinstatement with interest thereon promotion and all other monetary and attendant benefits.
ORDER : This petition coming up for orders on this day, upon perusing the petition and the affidavit filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of MR.J.RAVINDRAN, Senior Counsel for M/S. P. THILAKKUMAR, Advocate for the petitioner, the court made the following order:- Heard both sides. Perused the averments made in the accompanying affidavit.
2. During the course of hearing Mr.J.Ravindran, learned Senior Counsel appearing for the petitioner/respondent produced a copy of Circular No.1630/SG/2023, dated 30th August, 2023 issued by the respondent in the capacity of the Chief Secretary to Government of Tamil Nadu. 2/4
3. On perusal of the same, it appears that he instructed all Additional Chief Secretaries, Principal Secretaries and Secretaries to the Government and all Heads of Departments of the State Government to implement the orders of the Court in true letter and spirit within the specific time frame stipulated in the Court orders.
4. The Circular is placed on record. This Court is placing it's appreciation on record for the efforts being undertaken by the petitioner/respondent for the implementation of the Court orders in true letter and spirit by all the Government Officers.
