ORDER

This petition has been filed to call for the records pertaining to the impugned FIR in Crime No.146 of 2019 dated 19.03.2019, on the file of the first respondent police and to quash the same against this petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent would submit that the first respondent, after completing the investigation, has filed the final report before the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, and the case was taken on file in S.T.C.No.252 of 2021 and the same is pending. He further submitted that the petitioner has filed Crl.O.P(MD).No.6376 of 2023, seeking speedy disposal of the S.T.C.No.252 of 2021 on the file of the District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam and this Court by an order dated 07.06.2023, directed the learned District Munsif Cum Judicial Magistrate, Srirangam, to dispose of the case within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of that order.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, nothing survives for further adjudication and hence, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as infructuous. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 29.09.2023 NCC :
