ORDER
The petitioner, with a grievance that a wrong entry has been made in his patta, has approached the Revenue Divisional Officer for corrections. Alleging that the Revenue Divisional Officer has not passed any order, the petitioner has moved this writ petition.
2.Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that the entries have been made during the UDR survey and as per G.O.Ms.No.385, Revenue Department, dated 17.08.2004, the competent authority to make any corrections in the UDR records is the District Revenue Officer.
3.Considering the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the first respondent / Revenue Divisional Officer to transfer the files in 2/4
Na.Ka.No.A1/2909/2014 dated 06.08.2014 to the District Revenue Officer, Karur District, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The District Revenue Officer shall conduct an enquiry by affording due opportunity of hearing and pass appropriate orders, within a further period of twelve weeks therefrom.
