O R D E R

The petitioner is before this Court seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondent to register the house bearing Door No. 47, LIG Colony, Virudhunagar, Virudhunagar District, in the name of the petitioner by considering her representation dated 24.06.2024.

2. In the said representation, the petitioner has stated that she was allotted the said house on 25.04.1974, vide proceedings in Na.Ka.No.A8/6349/77, by the respondent under the Lower Income Group scheme.

3. The petitioner further states that she has paid the entire amount towards the allotment of the house to the respondent Municipality. However, the respondent has not come forward to register the house in her name.

4. Ms. S. Sabbani Karupura Jothi, learned counsel for the respondent, submitted that the petitioner's representation dated 2/4

24.06.2024 will be considered in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. The said submission is taken on record.

5. In view of the above, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 24.06.2024 on its own merits and pass appropriate orders in accordance with law.

6. The aforesaid exercise shall be completed within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

7. There shall be no order as to costs.
