O R D E R
The Petitioner herein seeks a direction to the respondents 1 to 4 to cancel the patta No.1605 issued in favour of fifth respondent pertains to the property in S.No.160/3 situated at Thulukkapatti Village, Virudhunagar Taluk, Virudhunagar District.
2.Mr..Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4. By consent of both parties, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.
3.The Petitioner claims that the subject property was purchased by his mother in the name of Petitioner's father and 2/6
the fifth respondent by producing invalid documents got patta transferred in his name. Therefore, the Petitioner submitted a representation on 3.6.2025 seeking cancellation of patta issued in favour of fifth respondent and restoration of the same in the name of Petitioner's father. The same has not been considered so far. Hence the Petitioner is before this Court with the present Writ Petition for the relief stated supra.
4.Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader who takes notice for the respondents 1 to 4, on written instruction from the fourth respondent, would submit that the representation submitted by the Petitioner will be considered on its own merits, within the time stipulated by this Court.
5.In view of the same, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the third respondent is directed to consider representation of the Petitioner, dated 3.6.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits after issuing notice to the Petitioner and fifth respondent, within a period of 12 weeks from the date of a copy of this order.
6.With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
