PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent Nos.1 to 9 to provide protection to the petitioner and her husband and family members of the petitioner's husband by constitute a complaint cell at Theni District on the basis of order of the Hon'ble Madras High Court in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 forthwith and pass such further or other order as this Hon'ble Court may deem fit and proper in the circumstances of the case.

This petition is filed seeking a direction to direct the respondent Nos.1 to 9 to provide protection to the petitioner and her husband and family members of the petitioner's husband by constitute a complaint cell at Theni District on the basis of order of the Hon'ble Madras High Court in W.P.No.26991 of 2014 forthwith. 2.The petitioner seeks police protection to her and her family members. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now. However, the petitioner is at liberty to lodge a fresh complaint, on fresh cause of action, if so advised. 3.With the above observations, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
