ORDER

The petitioner has challenged the impugned order dated 28.12.2016 passed by the respondent rejecting the petitioner's request seeking for reimbursement of the amount, which was withheld from the petitioner's salary from March, 2017.

2. It is now brought to the notice of this Court by the learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondent that subsequent to filing of this writ petition, the petitioner has filed a statutory revision before the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HOD), Chennai.

3. Since the statutory revision has been filed by the petitioner before the aforementioned authority, in the interest of the petitioner, a direction can be issued to the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HOD), Chennai, to dispose of the statutory revision within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner is also satisfied, if such a direction is issued.

5. Accordingly, this writ petition is disposed of by directing the Principal Chief Conservator of Forests (HOD), Chennai, to dispose of the statutory revision filed by the petitioner dated 05.08.2019, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
