This writ petition has been filed seeking writ of mandamus directing the respondents to extend the period of lease of fisheries rights based upon G.O.Ms.No.332, Animal Husbandry and Fisheries (FS-IV) Department, dated 17.11.1993 for a period of nine months. Since the period for which extension has been sought for has already expired, nothing survives for consideration in this writ petition. Hence, this Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
