Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the petition dated 18.01.2017 and consequently, to give appropriate direction to the respondents 2 & 3 to conduct enquiry as per the Registration Act, 1908 in S.No.2226/2 for an extent of 2 acre 12 cents, S.No.2226/1A2 for an extent of 79 cents, totalling 2 acre 91 cents situated in Uthamapuram Village, Theni District.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed by the petitioner for a direction to the official respondents to consider his representation and to conduct enquiry as per the Registration Act.

2.There is no representation for the petitioner, even though the matter is listed under the caption 'for dismissal'.

3.Learned Additional Government Pleader, on instructions, submitted that enquiry has been conducted as per the Registration Act and orders have been passed. He has also produced a copy of the proceedings of the District Registrar in Na.Ka.No.1567/E2/2021 dated 02.06.2022. 4.Recording the submission made by the learned Additional Government Pleader, this writ petition stands disposed of, with a direction to the second respondent to communicate a copy of the proceedings dated 02.06.2022 to the petitioner. The petitioner is at liberty to challenge the said proceedings, if he so advised. There shall be no order as to costs. Index :
