ORDER
The Criminal Original Petition has been filed, invoking Section 528 B.N.S.S., seeking orders to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of case in Crime No.150 of 2024 on the file of the third respondent police to the fourth respondent on the basis of the petitioner's representation dated 31.05.2024.
2. The learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that on the basis of the complaint given by one Ayothi, FIR came to be registered in Crime No.150 of 2024 on 27.04.2024 against two persons including the petitioner for the alleged offences under Sections 406, 408, 420, 506(1) and 109 IPC and that after registration of FIR, they have examined 12 witnesses and investigation is pending.
3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the owner of the petrol bunk alleging that the petitioner had leaked a 2/4
video connecting the said owner and one Muthumari, has lodged the present complaint. But the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the said case has no connection with the present case on hand.
4. Whatever it is, recording the submissions made on either side, the third respondent is directed to proceed with the investigation and the jurisdictional Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the same.
5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.
