The writ petition had been filed in the nature of a mandamus seeking consideration of a representation dated 19.08.2024. By that representation, the petitioner sought ordinary leave for 30 days for her husband, Pandi, who is Convict Prisoner No.25194 and now confined at Central Prison, Tiruchirappalli.

2. Mr.A.Thiruvadi Kumar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor forwarded the proceedings dated 15.09.2024 in No.RO.TRY456/Kc/2024 passed by the second respondent, Deputy Inspector General of Prisons, Trichy Range, Trichy, by which proceedings, the representation of the petitioner had been rejected.

3. The learned Counsel for the petitioner stated that permission may be granted to question the said proceedings by way of

further writ petition.

4. This Writ Petition stands closed with liberty to challenge the said proceedings by way of a separate writ petition in the manner known to law.
