There is no representation for the petitioner. The relief sought for in the writ petition is to direct the 2nd and 3rd respondents to direct respondents 4 to 7 to give connection to the petitioner, who is having LCO No.48148, to telecast the local programs from their private local channels having PLC Nos.56717, 56827, 56892 and 56888 respectively at Sathankulam, Tiruchendur Taluk, Thoothukudi District by considering his representation dated 10.04.2017. 3/5

2. The respondents 4 to 7 are private local channels and they cannot be compelled to telecast their programmes through the petitioner. This prayer cannot be maintained. Therefore, this writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
