Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the fourth and fifth respondents not to interfere in the civil dispute regarding petitioner's land in Survey Nos.35/1B, 36/1, Udappankudi Village, Sirumaruthur Group, Devakottai Taluk, Sivagangai District and not to harass the petitioner and his family members, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2016, within the stipulated time. O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the fourth and fifth respondents not to interfere in the civil dispute regarding petitioner's land in Survey Nos.35/1B, 36/1, Udappankudi Village, Sirumaruthur Group, Devakottai Taluk, https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Sivagangai District and not to harass the petitioner and his family members, based on the petitioner's representation dated 09.07.2016.

2. The grievance of the petitioner is that, there is a civil dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent. The fourth respondent police is interfering with the civil right. Hence, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

3. Today, when the Writ Petition came up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 1 to 4, on instructions, submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted by the fourth respondent police and the enquiry reveals that it is only a civil dispute between the petitioner and the fifth respondent. Hence, the complaint has been closed.

4. Considering the fact that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry has been conducted and thereafter, the complaint has been closed, no further adjudication is required in this Writ Petition.
