ORDER

This writ petition is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to take appropriate action as against the fourth respondent / Village Administrative Officer, by considering the petitioner's representation. 2.The case of the petitioner is that the fourth respondent / Village Administrative Officer has cut and removed several Tamarind, Vakai and Palmirah Trees from the Thiruvenkadanathapuram Village, illegally. 2/4

3.There is no representation for the petitioner. 4.Learned Additional Government Pleader, by referring the counter affidavit filed by the fourth respondent, submitted that the trees fell down on 20.11.2015 due to heavy rainfall in Thiruvenkadanathapuram Village and it was affecting the free flow of traffic on the road. Therefore, the trees were cut and removed and also sold on public auction. One Mosus Thanasing was the successful bidder. The sale proceeds of Rs.8140/- was also accounted for in the Rajakkamangalam Panchayat on 21.11.2015.

5.Recording the aforesaid submission and the counter affidavit, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
