This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the Respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.20 of 2022 and file a final report early.

2.When the matter was called, there is no representation on behalf of the Petitioner.
3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) appearing for the Respondent submitted that the case in Crime No.22 of 2022 has been registered for the offence under Sections 498(A), 406, 354(A), 342 and 506(i) of IPC, Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act and Section 4 of Dowry Prohibition Act. Therefore, he seeks three months time to complete the investigation. 4.Recording the submission of the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side), the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of. The Respondent Police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.22 of 2022 and file a final report before the Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, within a time undertaken above.
