ORDER
This petition has been filed for a direction to direct the respondents to take immediate action to pay the compensation to the petitioner in the light of the award passed by the Legal Services Authority, Madurai, in Victim Compensation Original Petition No.9 of 2018 dated 19.082019.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents would submit that the petitioner filed an application under the Tamil Nadu Victim Compensation Scheme, in pursuant to the crime registered in Crime No.22 of 2014 on the file of the Koodalpudur Police Station, Madurai, for the offences under Sections 294 (b), 323 and 506 (i) of IPC before the Legal Service Authority, Madurai. By an order dated 19.08.2019, the District Legal Service Authority, Madurai passed the award of Rs.6,00,000/- (Rupees Six Lakhs Only) as compensation to the petitioner and the same has been forwarded to the second respondent by communication dated 23.09.2019 and the same is pending to comply the said order.
3. Considering the above facts and circumstance, the respondents 1 and 2 are directed to disburse the compensation amount to the petitioner awarded by the Legal Service Authority, Madurai, within a period of ten weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
4. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
