ORDER

The present Writ Petition has been filed by a Special Sub Inspector of Police seeking a Mandamus to direct the respondents herein to confer selection grade on completion of 10 years as Special Sub Inspector of Police.

2. According to the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted a representation to the respondents 1 and 2 on 16.10.2023. The second respondent is the forwarding authority and the first respondent is the deciding authority.

3. Considering the limited request made by the writ petitioner, there shall be a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the request of the writ petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 2/4

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
