4.P.Pandiselvam Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to the impugned order in No.CCIII/Cable-Misc/Dlgs dated at Tallakulam HO - 625002, 27.06.2017, on the file of the second respondent and quash the same and consequently, directing the second respondent to accept the petitioner's renewal application dated 22.06.2017 and renew the same.

For Respondents : Mr.P.Paulpandi, Central Government Standing Counsel for R.1, R.2 Mr.Davind Sunder Singh for R.3 No appearance for R.4 COMMON ORDER The writ petition in WP(MD)No.12249 of 2016 is filed for a mandamus directing the respondents to renew the petitioner's Certificate of Registration as a cable operator of LTC Cable.

2.When the writ petition came up for hearing today, learned Counsel on either side submitted that the petitioner's license has been renewed upto 2023 and therefore, nothing survives for further adjudication in this writ petition. 3.Recording the aforesaid submission, the writ petition in WP(MD)No. 12249 of 2016 stands closed, as no further order is required to be passed. 4.The writ petitions in WP(MD)Nos.12370 of 2016 & 12792 of 2017 are filed as against the orders passed by the official respondents rejecting the petitioner's request for renewal of license. The petitioner also sought for a direction to renew his registration.

5.In view of the order passed in WP(MD)No.12249 of 2016 by recording the submission that the petitioner's license has been renewed upto 2023, these two writ petitions in WP(MD)Nos.12370 of 2016 & 12792 of 2017 are also closed.
