O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to quash the Charge Sheet in C.C.No.892 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, Madurai District.

2.The learned Counsel for the Petitioners submits that the subject matter of this case was referred to mediation. In the mediation, the parties had agreed for an amicable settlement. Copies of the terms of settlement are also enclosed along with this Petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the first Respondent would submit that the terms of settlement are with regard to the Domestic Violence case and the Maintenance case.

4.By way of rejoinder, the learned Counsel for the Petitioners would submit that the subject matter of the dispute was amicably settled, in which the parties agreed to file HMOP petition for dissolution of marriage and decree of divorce had already been granted.

5.On perusal of the typed set of papers, it is found that the decree of divorce was granted in HMOP.No.246 of 2021 by the learned Subordinate Judge, Thirumangalam. The terms of settlement arrived at in the Mediation Centre are also enclosed along with this petition. 6.In the light of the above settlement, this Criminal Original Petition is allowed. The Charge Sheet in C.C.No.892 of 2022 on the file of the learned Judicial Magistrate, Thirumangalam, Madurai District is quashed. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
