ORDER

The Writ Petition has been filed seeking orders to direct the respondents 1 to 4 to protect the life of the writ petitioner's husband, namely, Muniasamy and further direct the respondents 1 to 6 not to terminate the life of the writ petitioner's husband in the name of encounter.

2. In pursuance of the direction of this Court dated 24.09.2024, the learned Judicial Magistrate No.II, Thoothukudi has submitted a report stating that the accused Muniasamy, since Non-Bailable Warrant is pending against him, has surrendered before the Court on 10.09.2024 but without filing any petition to recall the Non-Bailable Warrant and that he was remanded to judicial custody.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents 2 to 4, on instructions from the fourth respondent, would submit that they have not taken any decision and they are not having any idea to encounter the writ petitioner's husband Muniasamy.

4. Recording the same, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
