ORDER

[Order of the Court was made by R.MAHADEVAN, J.] This Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents 1 and 2 to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2021 and to take appropriate action for removal of the encroachment made by the 3rd respondent in Survey No.960, situated at Velliyanai Village, Karur Taluk, Karur District, within a time frame. 2.Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2, on instructions, submitted that based on the representation of the petitioner dated 20.10.2021, steps have been taken for removal of the encroachment and

necessary instructions in this regard have already been issued to the Block Development Officer concerned.

3.Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the authorities concerned to remove the encroachment projected by the petitioner, after affording sufficient opportunity to all the parties concerned and by following due process of law, within a period of eight (8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
