When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents has placed before this Court the written instructions received by him informing him that the petitioner is dead and the charges framed against the petitioner had got abated. He has also received instructions that subsequent to the filing of the writ petition, the legal heirs of the deceased petitioner have been paid all the retirement benefits payable on account of the petitioner.

2.Recording the same, this Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
