PRAYER : Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C, to direct the second respondent not to harass the petitioner by considering the petitioner's representation to the first respondent dated 07.08.2023 and pass appropriate order regarding 110 Cr.P.C., registered by the Inspector of Police, Aruppukottai Taluk Police Station, Aruppukottai. O RDER This petition is filed seeking for a direction to the 2nd respondent not to harass the petitioner by considering her representation dated 07.08.2023 given to the 1st respondent and to pass appropriate order regarding 110 Cr.P.C., registered by the 2nd respondent Police.

2.According to the petitioner, he is a daily wage coolie and unnecessarily roped in the case in Crime No.39 of 2021. Due to which, the respondent Police have been harassing the petitioner. Therefore, sought for suitable directions.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) for the respondents Police submitted that the petitioner is a history sheeter and seven NDPS cases are pending against him and in respect of the investigation in those cases only, the petitioner is called for and the respondent Police are not harassing the petitioner.

4.In view of the above submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides, since the petitioner is called for by the respondent Police during the course of investigation in the criminal case that too NDPS cases and that the 2/4

petitioner stated to be a history sheeter, no further direction is required to be passed in this petition. Therefore, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
