O RDER This petition is filed to direct the third respondent not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry.

2.Even though there was no representation for the petitioner on 10.10.2023, the matter was posted on 31.10.2023, under the caption "for dismissal". On 31.10.2023 when the matter was called, at the request of the petitioner, it was posted today (ie., on 16.11.2023). 3.When the matter is taken up for hearing today (ie., on 16.11.2023), the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that a copy of the closure report was submitted to him by one Gnanasekara, the Special Sub Inspector of Police attached to the third respondent Police Station stating that the respondents 4 and 5 have withdrawn the complaint and copy of the closure report is also produced before this Court.

4.In the closure report, it is stated that on the basis of the complaint given by the petitioner, enquiry was undertaken in C.S.R.No.527 of 2023. During the course of enquiry, both the parties appeared and they have given an undertaking that they will work out 2/4

their remedy through appropriate civil process. On that undertaking, the complaint was closed.

5.Recording the same, nothing survives for further adjudication in this petition. There is no question of harassment by the third respondent police, now.

6.Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as infructuous.
