PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying this Court to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the third respondent Chief Educational Officer to approve forthwith to the appointment of S.Abinaya as B.T Assistant (English) in the petitioner School w.e.f., 03.01.2024 with all attendant benefits including arrears of salary and allowances.

O R D E R

The instant Writ Petition has been filed by the Management of Aided Non Minority School seeking a Mandamus as against the third respondent to approve the appointment of one S.Abinaya as B.T Assistant (English) in the petitioner's School.

According to the learned counsel appearing for the writ petitioner, the School has appointed one S.Abinaya as B.T Assistant (English) with effect from 03.01.2024 and the proposals have been forwarded to the fourth respondent on 06.01.2024. Since no orders were passed by the fourth respondent, the instant writ petition has been filed. 2/5

3. On instructions, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents submitted that the fourth respondent has forwarded the proposal to the third respondent on 14.03.2024 recommending for approval of the appointment of the said S.Abinaya as B.T Assistant (English).

4. In view of the above said facts, the third respondent herein is directed to pass orders upon the proposal forwarded by the fourth respondent within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above said observations, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs. Consequently connected Miscellaneous Petition stands closed.
