O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a direction to the respondent to disburse the balance amount of Rs.46,754/- to the petitioner, in terms of Para 3(IV) in G.O.Ms.No.475 Finance (Pension) Department, dated 30.09.2009, by considering the petitioner's representations, dated 18.04.2016 and 27.04.2016, within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.
2. When the matter is taken up for hearing today, the petitioner/ party - in - person would submit that he undergone medical treatment in Meenakshi Mission Hospital, Madurai and thereafter, he has submitted the bill to the respondent. However, the respondent has sanctioned only Rs.50,000/-, on 30.03.2010 and the balance amount was not paid to the petitioner. Therefore, he has made a representation to the respondent on 18.04.2016 and 27.04.2016. But till date no order was passed and hence, the present https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ 1/2
W.P.(MD)No.12662 of 2016 writ petition has been filed. The party-in-person would further submit that this Court may issue a direction to the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.04.2016.
3. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent has no serious objection for considering the petitioner's representation, dated 27.04.2016.
4. Considering the limited request made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this Court, without going into the merits of the matter, directs the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 27.04.2016, in accordance with the Scheme as well as the G.O.Ms.No.475 Finance (Pension) Department, dated 30.09.2009, and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, the connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
