ORDER

This Writ Petition is taken up for hearing at the time of admission with the consent of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the learned Special Government Pleader for the respondents 1 to 4 and the learned counsel for the fifth respondent.

2. This Writ Petition has been filed for a Mandamus to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 from granting any DTCP Plan approval to the fifth respondent for the lands in S.No.214/1, Vallayapettai Panchayat and Village, Kumbakonam Taluk, Thanjavur District by considering the petitioner's 2/4

representation, dated 19.07.2025.

3. This Writ Petition has been rendered as infructuous, as during the pendency of the complaint filed by the petitioner on 19.07.2025. After an FIR was registered against the fifth respondent in Crime No.235 of 2025 dated 30.07.2025 before the Kumbakonam Taluk Police Station, Thanjavur District for the offences under Section 324(4) and 326(b) of BNS, 2023, an application filed for approval of layout. It has been considered and an approval has been granted in favour of the fifth respondent vide letter, dated 31.07.2025. Therefore, this Writ Petition is dismissed as infructuous. However, liberty is given to the petitioner to challenge the same in accordance with law. No costs.
