This Writ Petition has been filed under the Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Certiorari, to direct the second respondent to permit our community people (Velar community) for perform the Poojariship of Arulmigu Sri Chithi Vinayakar Temple, dated 27.08.2025, Thuvariman, Madurai District and also get money (Thalaikattu Vari) from our community people to follow the customary practice and other related activities of the Temple in accordance with law by considering the petitioner's representation, dated 14.07.2025.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.M.Beema Rao, learned Counsel appearing for the Petitioner, submitted that the Petitioner does not wish to press the Writ Petition and that he seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this Writ Petition. He has also made an endorsement to that effect.

Mr.M.Lingadurai, learned Special Government Pleader for the Respondents stated that he had no objection.

In view of the submissions and the endorsement made by the learned Counsel for the Petitioner, this Writ Petition is dismissed as withdrawn. The file is consigned to record. There shall be no order as to costs.
