(Order of the Court was made by D. KRISHNAKUMAR, J.) The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, forbearing the respondents from diverting drainage water from Kannidian Channel or any other source for ultimate discharging into river Tamiraparani.

2.The petitioner is a resident of Ambasamudram Village. The respondents are trying to divert drainage water from Kannidian Channel into Tamiraparani River. Seeking to prevent the same, the present Writ Petition is filed.

3.The learned Government Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, on instructions, would submit that the fourth respondent is not diverting any water from Kannidian Channel to Tamiraparani River. 4.Recording the said submission of the learned Government Advocate, the Writ Petition is closed. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are closed.
