ORDER
The writ petition is filed seeking a direction to the respondents to enter his name in the online revenue records in respect of the property situated in Survey No.118/4, with an extent of 16.00 Ares, Alathur Village, Avudaiyarkovil Taluk, Pudukkottai District, by considering the representation dated 22.04.2025.
2.Heard the arguments of Mr.R.Prasanna, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.A.Baskaran, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. With the consent of both the counsel, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the stage of admission.
3. According to the petitioner, the subject property was assigned in
his favour on 22.07.1996. The petitioner has been enjoying the same by doing cultivation. Certain private parties attempted to interfere with the petitioner's possession. A civil suit was filed against the private parties and also respondents 1 and 3 in O.S.No.120 of 2010, on the file of the learned District Munsif, Aranthangi, seeking declaration of title and injunction. The said suit was decreed ex parte by declaring the title of the petitioner and granting permanent injunction. Now, the petitioner submitted the instant representation before the respondents on 22.04.2025, seeking issuance of regular patta in his name. The same has not been considered. Hence, he has come before this Court.
4. The learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents would submit that the representation of the petitioner is under consideration of second respondent in his proceedings Oo.Mu. 1726/2025/A1, dated 26.04.2025.
5. Since the request of the petitioner is under consideration of the second respondent in Oo.Mu.1726/2025/A1, dated 26.04.2025, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the matter, the second respondent
is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.04.2025 and pass final orders on its own merits within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording reasonable opportunity to the petitioner.
6. With the above direction, this Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
