O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition for a mandamus, directing the respondent to dispose of the petitioner's representations dated 08.02.2016 and 26.05.2016 submitted for demarcation of the property comprised in Natham Pula No.55/1A4B situated at Thayamangalam, Ilayankudi Taluk, Sivagangai District.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondent produced a letter, wherein it is stated that the patta stands in the name of petitioner's husband and no valid document is available to prove that 1308 Sq.feet of land in above survey number belongs to one Arokiya Prabhu, who is the adjacent land owner. It is also stated that the land will be measured within a stipulated time and thereafter, further action will be taken.

3. In view of the above, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the respondent to measure the petitioner's land within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. No costs.
