O R D E R
This writ petition has been filed for a mandamus seeking for a direction to the third respondent to disburse the service benefits, which, according to the petitioner, are payable from 23.04.1994 to 21.01.2002 with interest.
2. Prior to the filing of this writ petition, the petitioner had given a representation to the third respondent on 16.04.2019 seeking for the aforementioned relief. Since the said representation was not considered, the petitioner has filed this writ petition.
3. Till date, counter has not been filed by the respondents.
4. No prejudice will be caused to the respondents, if a direction is issued to them to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation, referred to supra, on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.
5. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the petitioner's representation, as it is for the third respondent to consider the same on merits and in accordance with law.
6. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on the petitioner's representation dated 16.04.2019, seeking for disbursement of the service benefits, which, according
to the petitioner, are payable from 23.04.1994 to 21.01.2002 with interest, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
7. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
