PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the respondents 1 to 3 to produce the person or body of the detenues, namely, 1.Harshika, daughter of Arivuselvam, aged about 2 years 4 months and 2.Harshitha, daughter of Arivuselvam, aged about 2 years 4 months, before this Court and hand over the custody of the detenues to the petitioner herein. Today there is no representation for the petitioner.

2. When the matter was taken up for consideration on earlier occassion, matter was referred to mediation since the real dispute is regarding the custody of the minor children. The petitioner herein being the

mother, sought for the custody of the minor children from her husband.

3. Today, the learned counsel appearing for the mediator has furnished a copy of the settlement arrived between the parties wherein the spouses are decided to reunite and have joint custody of the children.

4. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor states that the fourth respondent has agreed to arrange a separate house and take back his wife/petitioner herein.

5. Recording the above settlement report produced by the mediator and the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Habeas Corpus Petition is closed.
