The above petition has been filed seeking leave to file the appeal, challenging the judgment of acquittal made in C.C.No.53 of 2023 dated 20.12.2024 on the file of the Special Court under Essential Commodities Act, Thanjavur.
2. Heard the learned Special Public Prosecutor for customs appearing for the petitioner.
3. In delay condonation petition, despite receipt of notice, the respondents have not turned up.
4. Perused the impugned judgment and also the affidavit filed in support of this petition.
5. Being satisfied with the reasons, leave sought for is granted. Accordingly, this petition is ordered.
