ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by the Hon'ble G.R.Swaminathan J.) Heard both sides.

2. Even though the petitioner herein prayed for removal of the encroachment in question, the writ petition was disposed of on 30.04.2025 with only a direction to the RDO to complete enquiry and pass final order. Final order cancelling the pattas was passed on 02.09.2025. The petitioner's counsel states that the encroachment in question are still remaining. If that be so, it is open to the petitioner to file a fresh writ petition.

3. We are satisfied that the direction given by this Court has been complied with. With the aforesaid liberty to the petitioner, the contempt petition is closed.
