ORDER

(Order of the Court was made by S.M.SUBRAMANIAM, J.) The Writ of Mandamus has been instituted to direct the respondents 1 to 3 to remove the encroachment made by all encroachers in Survey No.50/47, Oriyur Village, Thiruvadanai Taluk, Ramanathapuram District.

2. With reference to the relief sought for in the present writ petition, the petitioner himself has stated in the affidavit that the authorities conducted survey, 2/5

identified the encroachments and issued notice under Section 7 of the Tamil Nadu Land Encroachment Act, 1905 in proceedings, dated 29.07.2025. Since enforcement actions have been commenced, the authorities shall complete the same by following the procedures as contemplated under the Act and Rules. The said exercise is directed to be completed within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

3. In view of the above, the writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. (S.M.S., J.) & (G.A.M., J.) 19.08.2025 NCC : Yes / No Index : Yes / No am 3/5
