ORDER

The petitioner has filed this Writ Petition seeking a direction to the respondents to survey his property, situated in Survey No.404/22, Patta No. 1/4

2067, Iluppur Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukottai District, by considering his application dated 17.09.2022.

2.Heard Mr.T.Veerakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.C.Satheesh, learned Government Advocate, who takes notice for the respondents. By consent of both sides, the Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3.According to the petitioner, he has been issued with Patta No.2067 in respect of the property in S.No.404/22, measuring an extent of 0.01.14 Hectares, situated at Iluppur Village, Iluppur Taluk, Pudukottai District. The above said property is not in a good shape and therefore, the petitioner wanted to demarcate the above said property and fencing the same. In this regard, on 17.09.2022, the petitioner submitted an application along with necessary fees before the first respondent to survey the said property and demarcate the same. However, no action has been taken on the petitioner's representation. Hence, having left with no other alternative remedy, the petitioner has approached this Court by way of filing the present Writ Petition. 4.The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner's land would be measured and demarcated on the 2/4

basis of his representation, dated 17.09.2022, after issuing a notice to all the necessary parties concerned, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. 5.Recording the aforesaid submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents, this Court, without going into the merits of the case, directs the respondents to survey and demarcate the property in question, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 17.09.2022, after issuing notice to all the necessary parties concerned, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 6.This Writ Petition stands disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
