The petitioner/ an accused in Crime No.353 of 2025, which was registered for the offence under Sections 366 IPC, Section 9, 10 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2006 and Section 5(i), 5(j)(ii), 6 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Section 3(2)(v) of the SC and ST(Prevention of Atrocities) Amendment Act 2015 has approached this Court, seeking a direction to the learned Judge, Special Court for Trial of Cases under SC/ST (POA) Act, Theni to consider his bail application on the same day of his surrender.

2. Today (21.08.2025), when this Criminal Original Petition is taken up for admission, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner seeks permission of this Court to withdraw this petition and he has also made an endorsement to that effect.
