For Petitioner : Mr.K.Yasar Arafath For R1 and R2 : Mr.E.Antony Sahaya Prabahar Additional Public Prosecutor O R D E R This Criminal Original Petition is filed seeking for a direction to the respondents 1 and 2 Police to provide police protection to the petitioner's land, basing on a representation given by him on 06.07.2023.

It is submitted by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner that there are disputes between the petitioner and the unofficial respondents in respect of immovable property and the petitioner has filed O.S.No.37 of 2010 before the District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Kamuthi, and the said suit was decreed in favour of the petitioner. It is further submitted that the respondent No.3, who is the President of the Village, has been threatening the petitioner to remove Karuvelam trees as the said trees are depleting the ground water in the said area and thereby, he sought for suitable directions.
3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents submits that basing on the representation of the 2/5
petitioner dated 06.07.2023, C.S.R.No.72 of 2023 has been given on 27.08.2023 and during the course of enquiry, the unofficial respondents appeared before the Police and gave an undertaking that they will not interefere with the possession of the petitioner.
4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the official respondents, no further directions can be given. However, in case if any threat comes from the unofficial respondents, the petitioner is at liberty to approach the respondents Police and file a fresh application.
