2.When these writ petitions are taken up for hearing today, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendency of these writ petitions, the impugned proceedings issued by the third respondent are cancelled and he has also produced a copy of the letter dated 26.02.2016 to that effect. He further submitted that the petitioner was retired from service and hence, nothing survives for adjudication in these writ petitions. 3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, these Writ Petitions are closed.
