By relying on a settlement deed dated 20.01.1997 by which the property in Ayan Punjai Survey No.261/1 of an extent of 30 cents was settled in the petitioner's favour by her husband, the present Writ Petition has been filed for issuance of a joint patta to the petitioner. The petitioner has placed on record patta No.1637 standing in the names of her late husband, Dhandapani and her brother-in-law, Kalimuthu.

2. Learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of all the respondents. He submits that the petitioner's request would be considered and disposed of within a period of twelve weeks.

3. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is disposed of by directing the third respondent to consider the petitioner's request for a joint patta and 2/4
