Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the impugned order on the file of the Respondent No.3 dated 17.06.2016 and the consequential impugned order on the file of the Respondent No.3 dated 18.06.2016 and quash the same as illegal and consequently for a direction, directing the Respondents to conduct fresh election for the FRD 50 Kannirajapuram Fishermen Co-operative Society in a fair method in accordance with the Rule 52 of the Tamil Nadu Co-operative Society Rules, 1988.

ORDER

The challenge in the writ petition is to the rejection of nomination of the petitioner for the election to be held in the year 2016.

2. Considering the fact that the election is long over and the period of office of such elected representatives had also been over, no further

adjudication is required to be made in this writ petition and the Writ Petition is accordingly, closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
