O R D E R

The writ petition has been filed challenging the order passed by the second respondent, dated 25.10.2018 and directing the respondents to grant incentive increments for acquiring PG qualification (Agriculture/Horticulture).

2. The petitioner is working as Farm Manager in Krishi Vigyan Kendra attached to Tamil Nadu Agricultural University. The petitioner has made a claim for incentive increment based on G.O.Ms.97, dated 06.07.2010.

3. The respondents have taken a specific stand that Krishi Vigyan Kendra Scheme is a funded program by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research, Government of India. As such, the petitioner is entitled for the benefits granted only by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research and he cannot claim incentive increment based on Government Order issued by the Government of Tamil Nadu.

Since this petitioner is working in Krishi Vigyan Kendra Scheme, in the Central Government sponsored program, this petitioner is not entitled for the incentive increment as per the Government Order of Tamil Nadu. The writ petition is dismissed. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
