[Order of the Court was made by D.KRISHNAKUMAR, J.] Prayer in this writ petition is to direct the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 09.12.2015 for removal of encroachment made by the fourth respondent in the Government poramboke land, restore the common Well for drinking water to the village public and form a proper drainage canal without affecting the public road.
2. The third respondent has filed a status report, dated 21.02.2018, stating that the subject Well has been closed on account of the fact it was not used for several years and the drinking water for the locality is
being provided by the Panchayat from Cauvery River. Further, it is stated that there is no encroachment in the subject land, as alleged by the petitioner.
3. In view of above, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition and the same is therefore closed.
