This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st respondent to consider the petitioners' representation dated 19.01.2023 for enhancing the compensation amount in connection with order of 2nd respondent dated 27.12.2022 with stipulated time as prescribed by this Court.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents.

3. The petitioners submitted a representation on 19.01.2023 to the 1st respondent for enhancing the compensation amount based on the order of the 2nd respondent. However, no action has been taken on the said petition. Hence, the present writ petition has been filed.

4. Learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, submits that enquiry is pending before the first respondent.

5. In view of the above submissions, without expressing any 2/4

opinion on the merits of the matter, this writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the 1st respondent to conclude the enquiry by considering the petitioners' representation dated 19.01.2023 on merits and in accordance with law, and pass appropriate orders within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
